Elevating Women of Color

Founded by Marquetta Collier, a Brooklyn native, 

at Elevating Women of Color, we are dedicated to fostering positive social change in Connecticut by empowering children, young adults and the broader community. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves to thrive and succeed in an equitable environment. We aim to uplift and support children, young adults and women through targeted programs, consultations and resources aimed at addressing the unique challenges facing underprivileged communities. 

By providing educational workshop, food drives, volunteer programs we strive to create pathways to personal and professional growth.

We collaborate with individuals, schools and other organizations and community leaders to develop impactful programs and activations in the community. Through advocacy, education and support, Elevating Women Of Color seeks to break down barriers and create lasting change.
